Life got in the way and we’ve not published a Story Arcade lore card in a while. It’s been bugging me that I need to get back into the habit of building out the Salt Mystic world with these immersive little one-shot illustrated flash fiction pieces. People seem to like them, and it’s one way to help on-board people to something I pour so much of my heart into.

But anyway, I recently took a dive into the Salt Mystic: Book of Lots to do a little solo roleplaying excursion and summoned a fun (and to me, hilarious) story of adventure and exploration that surprised me in its twists and ending. Crazy how roleplaying oracles do that – just flipping pages and answering questions, the occasional crazy decision to see what happens – and BOOM! Adventure!

We put together a new lore card with the illustrations and text of the adventure to store forever in the Story Arcade, and this is possibly something new we’ll do occasionally with that growing library, depending on how you guys feel about it. As always, these are one-page tales set in the Salt Mystic universe and something you can read in less than five minutes.
